JOHN SENCION

I am a brand strategist and creative director with an entrepreneurial founder background, passionate about creating LOVEBRANDS™ and cultivating raving fans through brand strategy, innovative product and immersive environments.

In 1999, I founded the travel brand Flight 001. What started as a small store in the West Village grew into 28 freestanding retail stores across 10 countries, demonstrating the brand’s global influence, strong positioning and deep connection with international travelers.

LOVEBRANDS’ NAME

I was inspired by Kevin Roberts’ influential book “Lovemarks” which is a must read for anyone interested in brand building. Also, whenever I was introduced as Flight 001’s founder, nine times out of ten, people would emphatically say “I LOVE that store!” We not only created a brand, but we realized we created a “lovebrand”.
